Our term two In House League was another fantastic experience for our program. Why our league is so impactful is largely impart due to the culture of program and the kids that sign up to play. Every weekend kids come running into the gym in their custom NBA and WNBA jerseys, ready to compete…the right way. For our league, every game is an opportunity to drive home what it means to not only be a competitor, but perhaps more importantly, what it means to be a great teammate. Our kids battle on the court every Friday night and Sunday morning, all for the opportunity to play in the finals at the end of each term.

We had some very close finals this term, starting with the 8u final, where the game came down to free throws. Seven year old, Brix Eslabon had ice in his veins to put the game away with 6 seconds left on the clock to clinch the title against the Washington Wizards. Another nail bitter came in the form of our 10u All Star division in a big time match up of the Clippers vs. the Bucks. Each team had solid play, but it came down to ball movement and aggressiveness, which is where the Clippers really thrived as a team. Our all girls division was a highly attended championship game where the court side seats were sold out and fans were cheering loudly! Great all around team play helped the New York Liberty clinch the championship against the Washington Mystics.

We looked forward to each league as it gives all of the kids in our program the opportunity to play and get better. Taking the skills that they are learning and working on each day at practice and putting to the test in the In House league is the ultimate way of getting better.  If you are interested in signing up for term 3, please email our operations manager at info@nbaschooluae.com for more information!
