The NBA In House League was a huge success in term one. With over 300 players participating, both boys and girls, our players had the chance to take what they learn in practice and implement it into the games to further develop their skills on the court. Our league is comprised of different levels and specific age groups so that the competition is consistently competitive, and fair for all.

This term was our best over all experience for our players. When asked about some highlights of the season, some of our players talked about the teams they were drafted to, the jerseys they wore, and the championship games they got to play in.

Four players and one team, from different divisions really stood out from their peers during their championship games on Sunday, December 11th. Thea Awad (Indiana Fever) lit up the gym with 23pts of the team’s 36 in a final against the Atlanta Dream. Ali Albora (Denver Nuggets) secured a double double and the win with 14pts and 10 rebounds against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Our Seattle Storm girls team beat the Memphis Grizzlies in an all around team effort winning only by two at the end of the game with a final score of 30-28. And lastly, in a marquee match-up the Orlando Magic pulled an upset against the Washington Wizards led by the phenomenal play of Josh Miller and Kyle Djibo, who both finished with 18pts and each chipped in 10 rebounds and 6 rebounds, respectively.

Term two play is just around the corner and we are fired up for what is sure to be another incredible season of NBA Basketball School In House hoops!
