Basketball – Le langage universel (Basketball- The Universal Language)

In the middle of January, six of our elite level players, and our head coach, Katie Batlin were invited to travel to Paris to participate in the first ever NBA Basketball School elite camp. Along with four other NBA Basketball Schools from around the world, our program participated in skills and drills to further their knowledge and ability within the game of basketball. Former NBA coach James Boreggo along with former NBA/WNBA basketball players were in attendance of the camp to lead drills, and talk about mentality and character development to all the players. 

It wasn’t just a chance to play basketball; each player received a complimentary ticket to watch the Detroit Pistons face the Chicago Bulls in the NBA Global Game of 2023. It was a fantastic environment for all the athletes, many of whom were only witnessing their second ever, live, NBA game. 

Our athletes grew closer through traveling together, experiencing a new culture, and playing the game they love all on the same court with one another! This is just another example of the pathway that the NBA Basketball School creates for player exposure and unparalleled experiences for our athletes!
