The NBA Basketball School in Dubai hosted its first All Star weekend for the In-House league, this past Saturday. Coinciding perfectly with the official NBA All Star weekend, our players were selected by voting ballots just like the real NBA stars! Twelve players from each division were selected and had the opportunity to represent their teams and compete in halftime competitions such as NBA Skills Challenge, NBA Two Ball, NBA 3pt contest, and last but not least the NBA Slam Dunk contest!
Our players received replica All Star jerseys that they get to keep and wear to practice and they also won NBA gear during halftime shows and quarter competitions. Parents were pulled out of the crowd to also compete against one another, as couples, and also with some of their kids! It was an unbelievable event put on by our program and the feedback from everyone was simply fantastic! We look forward to doing this every year moving forward and we are so glad that everyone had such a great time.
